Bally Technologies COO Gavin Isaacs said the business was looking forward to making it successful partnership. "Partnering with Ainsworth Game Technology to put their high-performing video content on Bally's award-winning ALPHA game cabinets is a win-win opportunity for both companies," Isaacs said.
Besides, Ainsworth said it expects to suffer a trading loss in the second half of fiscal 2009, a casualty of global economic conditions and currency fluctuations. Ainsworth provided no figures for its new guidance, but it follows a net loss of us$ 2.76 million in the first half, to December 31, and a us$ 10.78 million loss in the first half of fiscal 2008.
Ainsworth said the success of its product development strategies would allow the company to capitalise on global market opportunities as economic conditions improve, however.
