The new room opened on Friday, May 1st and is the first property to install PokerPro since the product received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
"PokerPro fits into our vision for Mountain View Casino, and allows us to offer our players a total poker experience in a cool and innovative environment," said Shelley McCaw, owner of Mountain View Casino. "We are now a licensed World Series of Poker satellite location and will be hosting five tournaments on PokerPro beginning in May. The winner of each event will win a seat at the 2009 WSOP in Las Vegas."
Mountain View Casino's gaming floor has been expanded to include a total entertainment experience called CLUB MVC. This new room features HD televisions, HD projector, a state-of-the-art surround sound system, 42' full-service video poker bar, and two PokerPro tables.
"We're excited that PokerPro is part of Mountain View Casino's new entertainment complex," said Chris Halligan, PokerTek's CEO. "They've created a great new room, and we're pleased that they are our first customer in Nevada since commencing our field trial."
PokerTek also has 12 PokerPro tables at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip. Excalibur was PokerTek's field trial property.
