“We are optimistic with a future distribution of Casino Link system in South America”

Which are the main features of Casino Link? Is it the first time you bring it here?

MS: Casino Link is a product that IGT acquired recently through Progressive Gaming, which is a company that develops casino systems. This year, we started to commercialize it in the region in a strong way. Casino Link is present in the region due to its strong multi-property features. It is a system prepared to operate in international markets where there are multiple currencies, multiple languages.

It is a system that IGT needed internationally, because we had both extremes: Easy Player, the easier one, at a lower level, and Advantage in the Premium range, for casinos with many machines. This year we decided to present it in Latin America because I think it is a good opportunity to show it to the market. We will also showcase it in SAGSE Buenos Aires, so these in Colombia it is the first incursion in Latin America.

In this first time in Latin America with this system, which is the feedback received by the customers and the visitors of the show?

SS: The first installs of Casino Link were very positive. People seemed to like this system because it is very easy to use and it has all the functions that they need to use.

Which are the expectations you have with this product for all Latin America?

SS: We have very high expectations. And we are very optimistic with a future distribution of the system in South America casinos.

Is the system operating in any other international market right now?

SS: The system is working throughout Canada, the US, Europe, also in Asia (Macau, Philippines), all over the world. It is an international product.

MS: With regards to product support, we are strongly expanding the equipment in Argentina. We will give centralized support in Buenos Aires, that’s why we are complementing the equipment with people from Europe, Canada and Macau, which know the application and is complementing the regional systems with our people, together with the additions to the team of engineers of international companies dedicated to technology.

How did you see the show? How was your experience in FADJA?

MS: The show was very positive for us. Unfortunately we came in the latest moment to show the system, but I think that it was a great chance for us to insert in the market. A lot of people came; we did not expect so much. It was a good show and we had good results.
