Bally receives most honors in "Top most innovative gaming technology products 2008"

Bally won five awards for the following products:  iVIEW Display Manager; Bally Power Card; Download Configuration Manager; Bally Biometric Recognition; and the iVIEW Software Design Kit. The winners of the platinum, gold, and silver awards will be announced May 21 at the Gaming Technology Summit in Las Vegas.

Bally’s award-winning technology products this year are: iVIEW Display Manager (DM), which enables operators to present system and marketing messages on the main game screen, the top game display, and even the overhead display with picture-in-picture capability. iVIEW DM is technically compatible with most existing gaming machines on casino floors.

Bally Power Card, a powerful new marketing and promotions tool for gaming operators. This stored-value card can be used as an ‘electronic wallet’ for players to use for gaming and purchases throughout the casino; as a marketing tool to drive incremental sales and reward customers and as a casino gift card.

Download Configuration Manager (DCM), a server application that allows casino operators to view, examine, and manage their floor configuration from a central location. DCM is used today to download iVIEW content across large casino floors (i.e., 3,000 plus games) in a matter of minutes.

Bally Biometric Recognition, the first product to incorporate distributed surveillance and biometric recognition to solve real business problems at the point of play, including self-exclusion and non-carded player tracking.

iVIEW Software Design Kit, which allows casinos to easily create, test, and deploy iVIEW multi-media content for the iVIEW SmartScreen or iVIEW DM on every slot machine on the casino floor.
