Last week, the so-called project from democrat Alberto Sánchez, which promotes a 10-year suspension of this type of business, could not be treated in the regional senate because legislators from political party Partido Justicialista left the chamber.

The judicial decision consists in suspending the effects of regional law 5775, which habilitates hotels of “special characteristics.” This way, projects that were going to be developed in the departments of San Martín and Maipú were suspended by their own mayors, Jorge Giménez and Adolfo Bermejo respectively.

It is decree number 27, from January 8th of the current year, which was published in February 25th. So Governor Celso Jaque complied with the instruction of federal judge Olga Pura de Arrabal, issued last December 30th, where in mentions the file 42.893/3 titled: “Cucci Pablo y otros contra Cela S.A. y otros por Ordinario”. The legal denomination of the presentation is a “statement action” that the judge still has to solve.
