What products did you offer to the Caribbean market and which is the position of the company in the region?
In this show, we presented our traditional table games, because we try to cover the customer needs the best way possible. In a market where we have customers of table games, we wanted to show everything we do regarding to layouts, chips, craps and accessories.
However, we were also showcasing a very simple RFID equipment, which shows the speed and security that brings this type of solution, inviting the customers that want to know more about us to come and visit us in the company or in G2E Las Vegas event.
Aruba and the Caribbean in general is a market in which you have an important position, or is a market in which you want to enter?
It is a market where we really wish to enter strongly. We have very faithful customers, but we still have a market share we want to conquer.
How have you seen the first AGS edition?
It is a very-well organized show. The layout of the stands was nice and attractive because it differs a bit from the big shows we visit in other places. So I saw it quite good, although there is a difference in the quantity of visitors, that’s why I would consider that the schedule of the event could be extended a bit more from 4 p.m. in the future.
To what Latin American exhibitions do you expect to assist for the rest of the year?
Definitely, for us SAGSE Buenos Aires and FADJA in Bogota are the two key ejes of our expansion in the two main markets we have. So that will be really our main focus for this year. In both countries we already have signed contracts to provide RFID equipments of chips, so we have passed this first stage of releasing the technology, and we are entering in a stage to develop in detail the most sophisticated equipments we have in order to operate the regional casinos.
