Galaxy Entertainment Group appoints new COO
Michael Mecca has a proven career in leadership roles with a number of globally recognized gaming and hospitality brands and most recently he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.
Mecca has also held senior executive roles with Station Casinos Inc., Las Vegas, Mandalay Resorts Group, Las Vegas and Caesars World Inc., Las Vegas. As President and COO of Galaxy Entertainment Group, Michael Mecca will have overall responsibility for the performances and growth of StarWorld Hotel and Casino, Galaxy Macau resort and City Clubs –Waldo Casino, Rio Casino, President Casino and Grand Waldo Casino.
