“Dedicated lottery games have already secured serious sums of funding for the London Olympics,” Shona Robison, the country’s minister for public health and sport, told The Herald.
“I want to ensure Scotland gets its fair share,” Robison added.
According to the newspaper, the Scottish government wants to use scratch cards to raise money, which mirrors a similar fund-raising scheme the National Lottery set up for the London Olympic Games using lottery tickets, scratch cards and online games.
