In the morning, the first International Gaming Forum was announced at 9,30, but organizers decided to postpone it for the afternoon, due to the lack of public. The first impression of the event was of tidiness and organization, in a small but nice frame, in which companies started to offer their products and services after 14,00.

The exhibition hall was not divided by boards, as usually seen in the exhibitions of the sector, and instead of that, a series of flowerpot holders with plants brought a Caribbean and more informal style to the event, with irregular corridors and open booths, similar to the ones offered by MAGIA exhibition, last year in Buenos Aires.

With regards to the public, the event had a show beginning, with less people than expected at first, but as time went by, the main operators of the local market were seen, and the shyness of the opening turned into a more positive day for exhibitors, that showed their satisfaction with the first results.

Around 15,00, finally the forum was inaugurated and five speakers talked in front of around 40 assistants, to conclude at 16,15 with the delivery of diplomas and mentions to each of the speakers: Rocío Albarenga, Manager of Public Relations from Grupo Midas (who travelled on behalf of Jorge Pereyra); Lenyse Shomo, Executive Director of the Lottery of the Virgin Islands; Francisco Leiva, Chile Casino Superintendent; Rosa Mateo, Director of Sales of Unidesa Gaming & Systems and Douglas Florence, CEO of NiceVision.

In the evening, organizers made a party in a private island of the hotel, where they welcomed the visitors and gave mentions to the companies and entities that supported the organization of Aruba Gaming Show.

It was announced the organization of the Forum for tomorrow as well, in the afternoon, together with the conclusion of this first edition of the trade event, that already confirmed its dates for next year, in March 18-20, 2010.
