Yesterday afternoon, during a press conference that counted with the assistance of around 20 people, the organizers of the event confirmed the presence of important companies, such as Bally Technologies, Crown Casino Seating, Novomatic, Sielcon, Unidesa, MEI and GPI, among others, and although they acknowledged that it will be a small event in size and product offer, it will be the first of a series of annual shows that aim to gather international manufacturers with Caribbean operators.

In the morning, it will start the first International Gaming Forum, that will count with the presence of John Connelly from Bally Technologies, Douglas Florence from Nicevision, Rosa Mateo from Unidesa, Francisco Leiva, from Chilean Casino Superintendence, Eduardo Paz from Sielcon and Bill Treger from GLI, among others.

Elizabeth Leiva, organizer of Peru Gaming Show and co-organizer of Aruba event, assured, during the press conference, that the objective of this show is to “offer the gaming market a new horizon to do business in the Caribbean.”

“We wish to thank all of you for coming and joining us in this event, that will be very small because it is the first edition, but that will manage to consolidate to become a success in future editions,” added Leiva, after naming the main speakers of the forum.

Besides, Patricia Alarcón, head of Excellence Group and co-organizer of the event, added that “Aruba authorities have trusted us to carry on this idea, this project that, in just six months, achieved to consolidate, and we want to assure you that Aruba Gaming Show is a reality and no doubt will be a success that is here to stay.”

Together with the organizers, it counted with the assistance of Jerusha Rasjmin, manager of convention services of the island and Dr. Luis de Cuba, Officer in charge of the Casino Department in Aruba, who welcomed the visitors and thanked the organization of the event.

Today, the Forum sessions will start at 9,30 in the morning, and at 13,30, the convention center will open its doors, as the beginning of an event that, until yesterday, was little in size and tidy in its organization.

The show, which attracted the interest of around 15 companies of the sector, now has to achieve the expectations of the manufacturers present in the event. The great success announced by organizers will no doubt depend on that.
