“The Caribbean is a specific market, other than Central and South America, so it deserves a fair itself,” said GPI, which commented the novelties that it will present in the first edition of AGS.
“We will submit a complete panel of table game equipment, focused on high-security cards and traditional materials such as cloth, dice and cards, all produced in our plant in Mexico. We will present RFID chips also with the latest software management table,” the company added.
When asked about the expectations for the first edition of AGS 2009, GPI said: “Aruba, in itself, has several major casinos, and we hope that all come to visit, as well as clients from other islands.”
With regards to the relationship with the Central American and Caribbean market, the firm added that “It is a region where casinos have a very American way of operating, which is not the case in South America. Being the number one supplier in the U.S. gives us some advantage here, because customers know that our products are often the benchmark in its category: chips Paulson, Bud Jones dice for example.”
