What novelties did Magic Dreams present in IGE 2009?

We lauched our EGO cabinet with double screen 19” TFT, available for the international market. We have also presented three new progressives, one of them is a three-level stand alone called Rock n’ Fish, which also allows to be linked to an isle of machines of the same game, another four-level progressive called Return of Phoenix and a four-level poker progressive with the maximum bet and a five-level Mystery that does not depend on the bet. Besides, we have presented several new games such as Aztec Moon and Break the House that may be included in Rapid Cash progressive.

Which of the products generated more interest among the visitors?

The main attraction was the new cabinet but the novel product was Poker progressive. Magic Dreams currently has a wide collection of poker and each of these games may be linked to this new progressive. It is attractive because It has a fifth Mystery jackpot, on top of the four levels.

Which was the final balance of your participation in the event? Have the previous expectations been achieved?

We had a very favourable balance. We have signed deals with new clients, and we also received new customers interested in acquiring our products in all Latin America. We have also signed official distribution agreements for Bolivia, Venezuela, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, among others.

What balance can you make for 2008 and what are your expectations for the current year?

At general levels, this was a very positive year. We have opened a venue in Argentina, where all the Latin American sales will be concentrated since 2009. We have complied with the aims we had planned during the year and we managed to achieve more insertion of our products in the market.

The international economic crisis will affect the whole industry in different ways. How do you think it will affect the gaming business in particular?

No doubt sales of casino equipment will decrease considerably.

What strategy does Magic Dreams plan in order to face the crisis?

From IGE our main aim is to offer customers more possibilities so they can afford our products, that’s why we have established new and more reasonable negotiation parameters, both at a commercial and financial level.
