Part of the academic agenda that is being set up by the organizing committee will be significant topics for the future of localized games, novelty games and lotteries and betting.

The manifest interest of the National Government to modify Law 643 that has been regulating the gaming industry since 2001 is based on the need both to modernize the regulations adapting them to the technological advances required in the market of globalized economy, as to redistribute the transferences received in the department and towns for the health sector in all of the Colombian territory.

Furthermore, a fundamental topic of CIJEGO will be Decree 1905 of May, 2008 which establishes the legal requirement of in line and real time operation, interconnected with ETESA, previous the homologation and certification of the gaming instruments. The decree also defines the minimum of machines per premise specialized in gaming according to the number of inhabitants of the municipalities.

The topics are complex and generate different points of opinion and postures which will find in CIJUEGO the appropriate space to be debated with all severity and analysis.

Baltazar Medina, President of FECEAZAR, expresses his compromise and enthusiasm for the initiative that will surely surpass last year’s attendance which was calculated in 350 people, given the hectic changing situation which is currently taking place.

3A Producciones, a company that has been managing FADJA for more than a decade, presents the brand CIJUEGO this year for academic programs which together with a strategic alliance, will apply with gaming associations in other countries in Latin America.
