Intelligent Deposit Systems (IDS) launches a new product at IGE

The handling, counting and reconciliation of cash has always been a laborious, very time consuming and high risk undertaking. The gaming industry is no exception and we have all seen images of cash pouring out of cash boxes as they are emptied out onto counting tables.

Those days may be gone with the introduction of I-DEPSYS (Intelligent Deposit System). A gaming table integrated device with multiple note and multiple denomination acceptance which counts and deposits any money handed over at the tables into a sealed bank / CIT (Cash in Transit) approved pouch.

Any and all monies deposited can be reconciled through a bespoke back office system which can stand alone or be integrated with existing casino management reporting software. This same software offers a full audit trail of all I-DEPSYS units and shows in real time the cash/drop position of each unit/table (ie how much cash is in each table).

IDS completed a successful 4 month trial of I-DEPSYS with Stanley Casinos where the device was trialed in a live casino environment. The unit performed exceptionally well and delivered to Stanley Casinos the 5 principal benefits of integrating I-DEPSYS into their operation.

I-DEPSYS will be launched at the forthcoming IC Exhibition and as the unit can be tailored to each gaming territory it will hopefully receive a great deal of interest from UK and International operators.
