The project would add a new 250-room five-star hotel, 500 additional car parks, giving a total of 3,000 car parks. It also includes 30 restaurants and bars, an expanded ballroom and an expanded and refurbished main gaming floor.
Tabcorp’s CEO Elmer Funke Kupper said it would make Star City one of the leading casinos in the Asia Pacific region, "providing new opportunities to attract interstate and international visitors".
Construction is expected to be completed in 2011.
