Started in 1995, Games World now has more than 2500 machines in over 30 venues in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova and Croatia. In the last two years it has considerably expanded its operations in Romania: already having a large entertainment centre in the Bucharest Mall, Romania’s most prestigious shopping area, and the City Casino in Bucharest city centre, it has opened five more complexes across the city under the Game World and City Casino brands, giving it a total of over 600 machines.
The company’s reputation has been built on providing top-quality venues, top-quality customer service and top-quality machines. It operates a policy of continual upgrading of its estate to ensure its standards are maintained and, where possible, raised. It was particularly keen to improve the performance of its bill acceptors, and so, when Money Controls invited Game World to trial Ardac Elite in several of its machines in its Game City casinos, it was delighted to take up the offer.
The performance of the slots with Ardac Elite installed was monitored closely during the trial and compared with that of their other slots.
Jozsef Helmes, the Game World Director of Operations in Romania, explained: “Romanian bills are made of polymer, not paper, and can pose problems for acceptors. They’re also of various sizes and have unusual features, such as transparent windows. So I was really pleased, and surprised, at the performance of the Ardac Elites that were trialled in our Game City casinos: whatever the denomination of bills, or their condition, they were accepted on first insertion over 98 times in every 100.”
“The slot machines in our recently opened casinos have Ardac Elite fitted. In fact, we now specify Ardac Elite as standard in all our casino and slot hall machines,” he added. This is the latest in a series of successful trials of Ardac Elite in casinos in Europe, the USA and Latin America.
Ardac Elite will be shown at Money Controls’ stand number 4330 at IGE event.
