The company offers bets placed at brick-and-mortar points of sale; bets prepared over the Internet and placed at brick-and-mortar points of sale; bets prepared over the Internet and placed by phone; and bets placed over the www.sazkatip.cz Internet portal.
Sazka accompanied the launch of Internet odds betting with a large advertising and marketing campaign including numerous bonuses and benefits for bettors. For Internet campaigns, the company uses a banner system, which allows monitoring the efficiency of advertising investments, or what is known as the affiliate program, i.e. a partner commission system for attracting customers.
Five betting firms have obtained the licenses to operate Internet odds bets in the Czech Republic. The operators must have a network of land-based outlets, where their bettors register.
The firms which have obtained the licenses are subject to regulation under the Gaming Act and to monitoring by state institutions. In compliance with the relevant legislation, they also pay administrative fees, state supervision fees, and transfer funds to good causes.
