In the Congress, the political party Partido Popular has presented a petition to demand the government to send a bill on Interactive Gaming to the General Courts, “in three months”, according to the Law of December 2007 on Measures to Boost Information Society.

Such norm asked the government to prepare and present the Courts a bill to regulate gaming and betting activities, in particular, those made through the interactive systems based in electronic communications.

Basic principles “were agreed by all the groups, which voted unanimously the transactional amendment” presented to the norm.
