Foxwoods Resort Casino introduces the Rolling Chip

The Rolling Chips program allows patrons to purchase gaming chips with a 1.5 % rebate at the time of purchase. The customer then uses the chips while betting during play. Winning bets are paid out with regular cash chips while losing bets are taken back by the house. The Rolling Chip program offers players an instant advance rebate which allows the customer the ability to play longer. Many customers prefer the additional rebate over more traditional complimentary amenities that casinos typically provide.

“We are thrilled to be the first casino in the country to offer this option to our casino patrons. We believe this program offers our customers more of what they want at a gaming facility, the ability to play their favorite game longer,” said Mike Speller, newly appointed president of the Mashantucket Gaming Enterprise (MPGE). “We are continually striving to deliver the best gaming experience to our customer, and based upon the popularity of this program in Macau, we wanted to be the first casino in the United States to make this available to our patrons.”

The initial introduction of the Rolling Chip will be located at the baccarat tables located in Club Newport and Stargazer casinos. The program will extend to other areas of the casino in the future.

In addition to the Rolling Chip Program, Noodles, a brand new Asian restaurant featuring an array of delectable cuisine opened near Rainmaker Square. Foxwoods announced that in 2009, Foxwoods will be adding new VIP player lounges for its Asian customers and their families as well as new table gaming areas.
