An invitation-only ribbon-cutting was planned for 1,500 guests with an appearance at 8:30 p.m. by the rock group Cheap Trick. The land-based Dubuque casino is owned by Peninsula Gaming.
The 1,746 sqm facility includes five restaurants, three bars, a night club/concert venue, and a 30-lane bowling center. The casino has over 900 slot machines, a poker room and 17 table games.
