Casino revenues were up 22.6 %

Poland shows strong numbers for 2007

(Poland).- Polish Ministry of Finance has released results for the gaming industry in 2007. Total revenues for all forms of wagering reached over us$ 4.3 billion.

That was over 47 % more than in 2006. Casino revenues were up 22.6 % and contributed over us$ 437.9 million to the total. Slot casino and arcade revenue was up 40.3 % to almost us$ 707.5 million.

The ever-growing, low-limit street machine market saw the biggest increase, up 104 % to over us$ 1.6 billion, representing the largest single contribution to total gaming revenue.
