GPI’s emphasis was very much on the comprehensive range of RFID solutions the company is now able to provide for both 125KHz and 13.56MHz technologies. Live demonstrations were held of some of GPI’s most popular applications to perform chips inventory at various locations of the casino such as Cage Readers, Chip Tray readers and Table Top Authenticator, all available with antennas and readers, operating software from the CIDs range and of course RFID chips from the Paulson, Bourgogne&Grasset and Bud Jones brands.

New products on display included the just released 13.56 MHz TableTop Authenticator that provides a swift and easy way for the dealer to authenticate and value the chips at the table, an improved version of the popular 125 KHz RFIDPoker table, as well as an innovative new generation of displays for American roulette with video reader. “We gathered tremendous interest particularly from US casinos as our displays are extremely rapid and very affordable” declared Christophe Leparoux.

In collaboration with JCM, an interesting new addition to the RFID range was demonstrated with the connection of a bill validator to an RFID-enabled black-jack table feeding the system with an exact situation of the table drop and chips inventory.

“Altogether that was a very good show particularly as GPI is definitely positioning itself as the leading provider of RFID solutions in addition to its ranges of traditional products such as layouts, tables, dice and playing cards” concluded Christophe Leparoux.
