Monreal pointed that it is necessary to get to know that information, because, “with a look of complicity of the Department of the Interior, with one license, 10 or 20 gambling venues are opened, and businessmen that fund PAN government campaigns are the ones who take advantage of the situation”.
Monreal indicated that an example of this is what happens in Nuevo León, where the president of Monterrey council, Adalberto Madero, is accused of taking advantage of those licenses.
He added that there is much opacity on how many gambling venues have been installed in the whole country, so he will present a report before Segob to be informed on how many licenses have been granted, and if they pay taxes, because, in fact, they operate in an irregular way.
He added that these virtual casinos operate even in poor councils, such as Guadalupe, in Zacatecas, where a gambling venue contrasts with the precarious situation of the citizens.
