Two new casinos will open in Chile this week

Enjoy Antofagasta (Enjoy-I.Simunovic) and Marina del Sol (Valmar-Clairvest), have just finished to correct the 24 and 39 remarks performed at the end of October by SCJ.

That’s why this Tuesday 11th the Casino Superintendent Francisco Javier Leiva will certify and inaugurate the complete project of Antofagasta in such region, and Thursday 13th it will conclude the opening of new casinos in Bio Bio region, during the following 15 years.

Antofagasta project will be the sixth casino regulated and controlled by SCJ that will open its doors to the public, followed by Talcahuano. So far, the five new casinos that are already operating are: Copiapó, Mostazal, Santa Cruz, Termas de Chillán and Los Ángeles.

Casino Enjoy Antofagasta means a total investment of us$ 61.7 million, and the generation of 847 direct permanent employments, has 700 machines, 41 table games and 320 bingo positions; on top of a bar and a restaurant. The project also considers a five-star hotel with 92 rooms, a show center and a convention center. The rest of the developments associated to Huanchaca Ruins count with a maximum deadline that will conclude on March 16th, 2009.

Marina del Sol Casino, in Talcahuano, has a total investment of us$ 88.2 million, the generation of 1,044 direct permanent employments, will have 800 machines, 50 table games and 336 bingo positions, on top of a bar and a restaurant. The rest of the project has a maximum deadline next March 25th, and includes –among other developments- a five-star hotel with 114 rooms, convention center, spa, gymnasium and a Heated swimming pool, disco and restaurants, Imax cinema, cultural center, interactive museum, theatre, library and exhibition hall.
