What is your opinion of SAGSE 2008?

It was no doubt a very positive year for SAGSE, and Aristocrat participation was very correct and refined. This year we were visited by the main regional operators not only from Argentina but also from Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Paraguay, Panama, as well as people from Brazil, Mexico and Central America.

Definitely, this year Latin America attracted the attention of the whole world and it was seen during SAGSE with the presence of local and international press, as well as the visit of regulators of different Latin American countries and executives of the main firms of the sector during the exhibition.

No doubt, Aristocrat presence in the region has been growing during the last decade. This is why we are the most solid and secure slot company, providers of the games with the best performance, which are the favourite of players. Due to the position and experience of Aristocrat in Latin America, once more it was awarded with the award “Sagse Trophy 2008” during the “Great Gaming Gala”,a party that SAGSE organization offers to all exhibitors and remarkable personalities of the industry.

Besides, Aristocrat had the pleasure to organize an impressive party together with Bally, IGT and WMS to welcome its customers and friends. This way, the four most important international companies of the sector concluded their participation in SAGSE, and showed a commitment with the region and the level of organization, and stated their position in the gaming industry.

What products did you present?

Aristocrat presented its new video games in Spanish for MKVI platform in its MAV500 machine. All translated, these new titles are a new addition to the large gallery of games in Spanish, which includes games in several categories such as Multi Line, 50 Line, Reel Power and Hyperlink. Some of the new MKVI games in Spanish presented during the exhibition are Black Mustang, Amazon Queen (both Multiline), Good Fortune, La Gator (both 50 Line), Red Baron, Golden Inca (both Reel Power) and Mr. Cashman, one of the players’ favorites, among many others.

Besides, Aristocrat presented games in 100-Line and Standalone Progressive MKVI categories, which will soon be available in the market in Spanish with titles such as 100 Lions, Wild Panda, Lucky Fortune and The Magician.

It was presented in exclusive for Latin America the new Viridian cabinet and the new GEN7 platform, which was awarded in 2007 as “Best New Slot Product” by Global Gaming Business Magazine. VIiridian has received praises and global recognition from its release. Some of the game titles in GEN7 platform exhibited are: Harlequin Hearts, Butterfly Kiss, Polynesian Pearl, African Storm, Double Happiness and Geisha.

PokerPro system was also presented during SAGSE. PokerPro is the most popular electronic Texas Hold ‘Em product around the world and it is now available in Latin America.

What is your opinion on the operation of casinos in Argentina?

It has been said that the gaming industry in Argentina has grown in an impressive way,

Offering the player a better entertainment option with a better infrastructure, as well as a wide range of games and categories. A casino or bingo hall must offer different options for the player, so it is positive the competence among different manufacturers, but there should always be a base and trust in the products that have shown a positive performance and have become favorite among players.
