Talaris has seen new business wins on each of the continents it operates in, with orders for its flagship products such as the Vertera and TCR Twinsafe and additional orders from major European banks such as Lloyds TSB (UK) and SIBS from Portugal. Additionally Talaris France has been awarded a 2 year service contract by Sociéité Générale for the third part maintenance of its self service terminals.

In support of its development strategy Talaris has also held its inaugural conference for Business Partners in Istanbul – where more than 120 Partners learnt more of the company’s plans for continued innovation and market development.

Talaris Group Marketing Director, Mal McHutchison outlined some of the progress within the company “We formally commenced operations on 1st September 2008 – some 60 days ago – and across the business we have seen tremendous momentum driving the change of our brand, messaging and delivery. As an independent business we are in a position to respond swiftly and effectively to our customers needs and to be agile in a market that is seeing considerable movement and change.”

Mal continued: “Talaris are world experts in Cash Management, and clearly cash as the preferred payment instrument globally has been a subject very much in the news recently. As cash retains its important place for businesses, retailers and banks we are here to ensure the absolute efficient management of it. Our specialist technologies and solutions are in demand worldwide as we have seen with our recent business wins.”

Talaris is also celebrating two award wins as a result of success at the CIFTEE show in Bejing, China. CIFTEE is China’s largest financial technology exhibition, (China International Exhibition on Financial Banking Technology and Equipment: CIFTEE) and was a key Talaris launch platform for this important market.

Talaris was ultimately honored to be presented with two prestigious awards at the show, winning the “Excellent Booth Design Award” and further recognition for outstanding technology with the “Excellent Financial Equipment Award” given for the Talaris NMD 100 notes and media dispenser. The awards were received by Steve Copestake, Product and Development Manager and Jan Andersson, Technical Services Manager, Talaris OEM.
