Why did Alfastreet decide to return to SAGSE trade show in Buenos Aires?
We wanted to return to SAGSE because we believe in the South American market and also because we believe in the SAGSE show. Alfastreet is one of key players in the Multi-player segment on the South American market and the return to this show was a natural move. This year South American market is the fastest growing market for Alfastreet and this mostly thanks to the performance of the Mexican market.
What products did the company decide to present during the exhibition? Did Alfastreet introduce something in particular for the regional market?
On the Show we have presented the updated R8 roulette, which is the most popular product in it’s segment. The new features of the roulette include improved player interface and also improved and even more reliable hardware of the machine. We wanted to offer operators the best possible reliability and increased performance on the Casino floor.
Which was the feedback received from visitors, clients and potential new ones?
The feedback on the Show was excellent. With all the activities that we are currently undertaking on the market the brand recognition is very strong. But at the base of everything there is a good product; something that we have! Alfastreet products are commonly recognized as the best performers in it’s class and current sales results are a proof of this very positive moment for Alfastreet.
Which was your final impression of the show?
The Show was positive for us. We have managed to obtain strong leads and we have further strengthen our contacts with many key operators in the region. Another positive thing is that after all, we have returned here after four year of absence. To support our rapid expansion our Marketing strategy is to be present on every mayor Gaming Show and SAGSE Buenos Aires is still very important in the region. Hopefully next year the local disregards will be sorted out as they are hurting the weight and also the credibility of the Show in general.
Do you think international financial crisis will affect somehow the gambling industry in general and Alfastreet in particular?
The International financial crisis will definitively affect the industry and we can already see lowering of the demand in the US. At the moment Alfastreet is not feeling the impact of it but we think that we will experience some downturn in the next year. We are already taking measures to minimize the impact of it and I am very optimistic about the future of Alfastreet.
