What products did Suzo present in the event?

We focused in the signage, which is our new business. Many of our hoardings are present in the most important booths of the show, which is something very positive for us. Besides, we presented our already well-known Suzo range of products.

What were the results for the company?

It allowed us to close some pending issues and open new ones that were not planned, so SAGSE result was positive. With regards to the event itself, I saw that it has less public than last year, but visitors are more specific, more interested. Maybe last year it had more assistants, but many of them came just to walk around. So, in general terms, the current event is good.

What projects do you have for 2009?

Next year we will give more importance to the rest of Latin America. Once it is signed, we will publish a new distribution agreement for Colombia, starting next January 1st, trying to leverage that market even more. We are also supplying hoardings for Mexico and we want to target that market in a more aggressive way in that area.

When talking about new products, we have recently signed several distribution contracts, which will be promoted once we can do it. It seems that next year will be positive, or at least it seems that it will maintain the growth rate we have been achieving in the last eight years.

Which is the position in Argentina and in Latin America as well?

In Argentina, Suzo is very well positioned and very well-known, but this year we have performed very interesting things regarding hoardings, our new product. Results exceeded our expectations. We are currently chosen by IGT, which is a quite interesting reference. The first signage installed was in Casino Club, so we started to deal with top companies all of a sudden, and it was very positive. We have installed signage in the province of Mendoza (Argentina) and we have done business in the Caribbean, too.

Nowadays, we have achieved an interesting position in the signage sector, in which we were not known. We are qualified as a top product manufacturer, so this first year is excellent. Now we will concentrate in consolidating what has happened in Argentina with real facts, trying to gain more market share and starting to work more firmly in the rest of Latin America.
