New Sheraton Mendoza had its inauguration party

A large crowd gathered in the celebration held last Friday night in the new hotel that organized its opening in Mendoza. Authorities of the national and regional government, businessmen, artists, journalists and other guests arrived at the luxury building for its official inauguration. Vice president Julio Cobos was one of the personalities that traveled to the province to participate of the big party.

Young women dressed in black and red, in the Charleston style, welcomed guests. Sheraton Mendoza was transformed into an “open house”, whose slogan was to walk, enjoy and get to know every corner of the hotel.

Among the regional officers, it was vice-governor Cristian Racconto. National legislators Omar de Marchi and Enrique Thomas were present as well. Tourist Secretary, Luis Böhm, mayor of the Capital, Víctor Fayad, its collegue of Godoy Cruz, Alfredo Cornejo and Mariana Juri and Alejandro Gallego were other authorities that assisted to the inauguration night. The ribbon cut was held once all authorities were present.

Sheraton is the second international five-star hotel chain that arrives in Mendoza. The hotel, that offers the maximum comfort and services, in the highest of the province, with 17 floors. Besides, it has 180 rooms, 7 centers for social or corporative events, heated swimming-pool, bars, gourmet restaurants, spa and fitness center.

Huentala Inversiones Hoteleras started to create this project four years ago. The total investment was us$ 65 million. In this opportunity, businessmen signed a deal with Chilean group Enjoy, main casino operator in Chile. The opening of the hotel casino Enjoy also generated an enormous expectation. It has latest generation slot machines, table games, roulettes and a VIP room.
