The poker software specialist – which has 10 years’ online gaming experience and offices in Vienna, Austria and Las Vegas, USA – opted to exhibit in ICE in 2008 in order to open up to the land-based segment of the gaming industry.

Having picked up the ‘Hot Shot’ title at the 2008 International Gaming Awards and established successful partnerships with customers including Partouche Gaming and EGaming Partners, RPG returns to ICEi where it will be demonstrating Practice Chips Network.

A new concept developed in co-operation with EGaming Partners, this is a poker network based on a unique model which allows any gaming or non-gaming organization to participate in and benefit from the poker boom, regardless of their location and jurisdiction, and use poker to strengthen their brand online, gain new customers and maintain a strong relationship with the existing ones.

Commenting on the firm’s involvement with London’s remote gaming extravaganza, Red Planet Gaming CEO, Vahe Baloulian said: “I have been visiting ICEi since it was established. Every year the quality of the show improves and because of the volatility of the industry the exhibitors change. For us it is important to show that we are standing strong and growing and ICEi presents the perfect opportunity for this. We expect to acquire new customers and learn from our fellow exhibitors.”

Baloulian added: “As consultants we specialize in turning underperforming poker networks and cardrooms profitable. As an exclusive agent for the Red Planet Gaming software, our strength lies in the flexibility to supply qualified parties with their own poker software, set up networks or stand-alone cardrooms and, most frequently, provide new and existing cardrooms with a complete turn-key setup and operation within a Malta-licensed network.”

RPG will be targeting both off- and on-line customers from stand 5046 at ICEi, which takes place across 27-29 January at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
