Chile: Talcahuano moves forward to the opening of its new casino

(Chile).- Chile Casino Superintendence (SCJ) started the stage previous to the certification and inauguration of the new casino in Talcahuano (Valmar-Clairvest), which consists in verifying the effective compliance of the characteristics of the licensed project and the regulation by Marina del Sol S.A. (Valmar-Clairvest).
While the Chilean-Canadian investment group Valmar-Clairvest informed SCJ that it is ready to start casino operations six months before the legal deadline, the rest of the development of the project will continue up to March 25th, 2009.
The 15 new casinos approved in 2006, on top of Talcahuano project, are also in the verification stage of Mostazal project (SUN International-Novomatic-IGGR).
Besides, four new casinos are operational in Pinto -Termas de Chillán- (J.L. Giner), Los Ángeles (Casinos Austria), Copiapó (Egasa-Nervión) and Santa Cruz (C. Cardoen-Enjoy).
