Since September 2006, Khin has led Aristocrat’s Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) operation, which sells markets and distributes products to more than 40 countries. Over the past two years, Khin has driven Aristocrat’s expansion into a number of new markets, in particular the Spanish market, where the company will be launching its new casino style arcade games later this month.
The EMEA region has reported record revenue (up more than 50 %) and profitability (up 140 %) over the past two years, with the company significantly increasing its overall market share and presence in the region.
Khin has also had global executive responsibility for development and commercialization of the company’s leading edge ACE Class III and VLT TruServ server-based gaming initiative through its Stockholm-based subsidiary, ACE Interactive. In addition, he has played a key supervisory role over Elektroncek BV, the company’s 50 percent owned multi-terminal business headquartered in Europe.
He has previously held a number of senior positions in the company. Prior to joining Aristocrat he held senior positions in the technology and telecommunications industries, during which time he worked in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands and the USA.
Paul Oneile, CEO and Managing Director, said: "Nick is an exceptional executive. I am confident that his leadership style coupled with his intimate understanding of global gaming markets and customers will establish Aristocrat as the pre-eminent supplier of gaming solutions in the Americas region."
"Nick’s leadership of our TruServ server based gaming strategy and product development over the past two years means we have an executive managing our American business who has an in-depth understanding of what is the leading edge server-based gaming solution for the global market. As North America moves towards adoption of this technology, this places us in an unrivalled position to capitalize on this change," concluded Oneile.
