Net gaming income of the group, located in Gibraltar, increased a 36 % to us$ 131.5 million, while the gross operating result (Ebitda) increased a 68% to us$ 28.3 million.
The company announced, at the beginning of August, that the greatest part of the collection came from its casino business, with us$ 70 million, a 31% more than the previous financial exercise.
Poker games reported an income of us$ 42 million, an increment of 2%. In the second quarter, there was a 10% decrease in collection compared to the same period 2007, as a consequence of the coincidence with the Euro Football Cup.
Besides, the company pointed that, in the third quarter, a period with less activity in the sector, has started well doe to casino and poker business. It also announced the release of new games in the second half of the year, so it continues with its diversification strategy.
