Casinos Austria to open new casino in Ovalle, Chile

Following the successful opening of Gran Casino Los Angeles in July of this year, the new casino in Ovalle will be Casinos Austria International’s second casino in Chile and will open in late 2009/early 2010. In addition to a spacious gaming floor with 8 tables and 180 slot machines, plans for the new complex include a 4-star hotel with 40 rooms, a top-class restaurant and state-of-the-art conference facilities. Total investment in the project will be approximately US$ 18 million.

Ovalle is an important agricultural center some 500 km north of Santiago in Chile’s IV. Region and is the capital of Limari Province. Casinos Austria Internationals integrity, know-how and extensive experience as an international casino operator were key factors in the selection of the Austrian bid.
