Microgaming takes bingo to Malta
The company has already received online gaming licenses for its casino and poker products by Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority, and the addition of a gaming licence for bingo will enable it to service its growing base of operators in the EU.
Malta - the first EU member state to regulate remote gaming - offers four classes of remote gaming license, with applicants undergoing probity checks as part of a wider fit and proper exercise, business and technical assessment, and finally a compliance audit.
