Chile: Gran Casino Los Angeles to be inaugurated Next Tuesday
The opening will count with guided visits on the casino and the training school, special for the press and the authorities. In a brief ceremony, the Casino Superintendence (SCJ) will organize the official issuance of the authorization that allows to open the “Gran Casino Los Angeles” to the community on the same day.
The operator of this new entertainment center is Casinos Austria International, worldwide well-known from the beginning of its operations in 1934, due to its prestige and great history. It currently operates 65 casinos in 17 countries.
The complete project, “Gran Casino Los Ángeles”, had an investment close to us$ 20 million, becoming a great attraction in the city and a direct source of employment, with 180 new jobs created.
Besides, it adds an important contribution for the tourist offer and the infrastructure in Los Angeles, with a casino as well as a modern 90-room hotel, a wider convention center for more than 500 people, with a spa, a bar and a restaurant. The second stage of the project is expected to conclude during the first semester of 2009.
