The Croatian capital's Golden Sun Casino, operated by Major Internacional, installed a giant screen and projector to broadcast live Euro 2008 matches to its playing clientèle for the duration of the tournament. Aristocrat's 10-strong Pelé Golden Goals Hyperlink was playmaker as the centrepiece attraction on the air-conditioned gaming floor.
Bar staff, kitted out in Croatian team strips, watched from the sidelines as they served football-themed cocktails, whilst slot staff took to the field in Pelé t-shirts to attend players' needs. The promotional campaign was supported by printed flyer distribution, newspaper advertisements and a radio commercial complete with football jingle.
