Prohibition of international simulcasting lifted in Brazil

Operations managed by Codere Brazil started operating again due to the decision of Minister of Agriculture, Reinhold Stephanes, whose ministry is responsible of the control of horse racing activities in the country.
Rule number nº 26, signed last Tuesday by Stephanes and published in the Official Journal of the Union, suspends for 120 days the effects of the other two rules (number 8, March 28th, and nº 13 of the same day), which revoked the norm number 21, signed October 27th 2005 by the former minister of Agriculture Roberto Rodríguez, who allowed international simulcasting.
