Nominated to join the ranks of the Great Women of Gaming is Thalden Boyd Emery's vice president, Linda Roe. Thalden Emery CEO Barry Thalden said, “Everyone who knows Linda knows she is a passionate person about her work, gaming, and Tribal gaming, and we are absolutely thrilled that she has been nominated for this honor.”

Roe has more than 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry working with architects, contractors and developers as a business development executive. But it is her commitment to the gaming industry, particularly the tribal gaming industry that scored her the nomination.

Since 1991, she has been actively involved in tribal issues within the gaming industry and has worked with multiple tribes across North America, helping to develop successful building projects.

In addition to her client/contractor relationship, Roe is well-known for her leadership in the National Indian Gaming Associate (NIGA) program, where she has worked on issues to help build and preserve tribes' economic, social and political voice. Her role in NIGA has also allowed her to lead strong lobbying efforts in Washington.

Thalden Boyd Emery is a division of Thalden Emery, one of the nation's leading architectural firms. With more than 31 years of architecture and design experience, the firm has worked on more than 400 hotels and 90 casinos projects for distinguished companies in the hospitality industry including: Caesars, Commerce Casino, Harrah's, Holiday Inns Worldwide, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Radisson, Park Place Entertainment, Penn National, Players and Donald Trump.
