Ritzio enters Croatian gaming market

Ritzio's new establishments add 555 slot machines to company's 55,000 worldwide. Currently the company operates gaming clubs and casinos in fourteen countries including Europe's Germany, Italy, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

The purchase is another step in the Ritzio's strategy to expand its business activities across the continent. The Group's primary focus in Croatia is to pursue and develop small and medium-size clubs segment within the ‘convenient gaming' market.

“As a part of the company's development plans, we have been looking for the right opportunity to enter Croatia. We are very pleased to begin establishing a significant business presence in the local market. Ritzio's long-term experience in managing its own and local brands across Europe will enable us to grow our Croatian operations further”, said Vitaly Veselko, the CEO of Ritzio Entertainment Group.

According to Veselko, the acquisition to be followed by more purchases and local operations development, while the Group aims at becoming a leading market player in the Croatian gaming industry. Balanced local gaming legislation and favourable market conditions provide Ritzio with an opportunity to reach its goal within a short period of time.
