IMA 2008 concluded with important results

An increment of all sectors has been proved: 8% more visitors, 15% more exhibition space and a lot of orders taken.

Via a press release, IMA organizers assured that “the joint efforts of all associations of the sector of automatic machines are achieving important results. The new gambling regulation allows the operation of a wide range of new and interesting gambling machines with the possibility of making money.

It is also noticed the trend of gaming machines with displays, however, classic machines based in reels and disks, are still attractive for a great part of the customers. It also confirms international experiences”.

“Player protection also acquires more relevance now: the quick deployment of games prevents from playing simultaneously with several machines. An effective five-minute break after an hour of continuous gaming is an example to be followed globally.

Besides, they informed that “both recreational machines without a chance to win money and machines with sports games are being more successful than previous years”.

IMA exhibition is more focused than previous years in women, both in hotels and games. It not only increments the number of potential customers but also leads to more acceptance and a higher level of participants.

“IMA demonstrates that the hard and intense competence leads to new and interesting developments of products and better offers for the customers”, concluded its organizers.
