The Chief Operating Officer of Bally Technologies, Gavin Isaacs, told local newspaper The Hindu that the second studio would help produce more gaming software for Bally's global market. The company would be investing over us$32 million this year.

Recently, the Indian company had developed the first game and its software in its studio. This game “Chinese Kitchen” was released during the recently held International Casino Exhibition (ICE) in London.

Isaacs, who was in India for the inauguration of the facility, said with the opening of the second studio, the Indian company would be in a position to produce eight games in a year.

So far, Bally had invested over us$16 million in India since it started its operations in October 2005.

At present, about 80 per cent of the total work done by Bally Technologies India was on casino management systems and the rest in developing gaming software. The ratio would be equal in three years, Isaacs said.

Bally Technologies has two major lines of businesses - developing gaming software and casino management systems - catering to regulated gaming markets across the world.
