November, in particular, was the best month of 2007, when the five agencies of Turff Bet & Sports Bar, managed by Codere in Porto Alegre (RS), Rio de Janeiro and Niteroi (RJ), reached us$ 2.43 million.

“Altough the numbers are important in the national market, we still have not reached our common aim of recovering local horse races. We are working with the aim that 2008 may be the year of transformation”, affirmed Gelfi.

Simulcasting, a society with Brazilian Jockeys Clubs (RJ) and from Río Grande do Sul, started operating in August 2006. The arrival of Simulcasting guaranteed horse races in the country.
