Gextech founder joins NetSurf as CEO

(UK).- Gextech founder and former Group Chairman, Mark Campbell, is back in the industry following his appointment as CEO of leading e-gaming company NetSurf Media.

Campbell, who has a formidable track record for launching and building successful commercial enterprises in both the telecommunications and gaming sectors, will be responsible for implementing a key strategic expansion which will see NetSurf license its own online casinos in Europe.

“NetSurf, which employs 150 people globally, has assembled a huge amount of expertise building operating software for in excess of 10 online casinos,” explained Campbell.

“The decision to build the business and operate in our own right represented a fantastic adventure and an opportunity that I could not resist. I believe that there is huge scope to bring some tangible points of difference to the sector and rest assured we will be delivering some great ideas, bundles of energy and creativity generated by the best brains in the business to the online casino table. My first industry event as CEO of NetSurf Media will be next week's ICE show in London where I will be taking our vision to key influencers and making some progress in filling some of the 70 vacancies that exist to help fulfil stage one of our ambitious and exciting strategic plan.”

NetSurf Media boasts a distinguished Board of Directors including the former Conservative Party Chairman Sir Edward du Cann, founder shareholder in Boss Media, Marcus Isaksson and Internet Visionaire Amit Jain. Campbell promises more high profile leaders will be joining the company soon.
