Ahead of the sixth annual ICEi, Clarion Gaming's Head of Exhibitions Karen Cooke enthused: “New and innovative products, systems and services from the world's leading suppliers all under one roof make ICEi an unmissable proposition for any professional working in the international remote gaming industry. It offers an ideal platform for new business and represents a golden opportunity to kick-start the New Year.”

Cooke continued: “From sports betting software to law firms, fraud management to gambling search engines, payment providers to roulette, slots, craps, bingo and poker web developers, ICEi's offering continues to grow exponentially in new, exciting directions. The breadth, depth and quality of companies exhibiting at ICEi has never been greater. The show has emerged as a truly unique opportunity for the remote gambling industry to examine, evaluate and exploit hundreds of new business products and opportunities from around the world.”

Housing over 30 distinct product sectors from over 70 different companies, January's remote gambling get-together is the biggest on record. At almost 2,000 sqm, ICEi 2008 is a third bigger than in 2007 and more than double the size of 2006.

Alongside other returning big hitters such as A Bet A Technology, Microgaming Software Systems Ltd, Nyx Interactive AB, Bell Med Ltd and Safepay Int., the 2008 show will include the high profile presence of government institutions from the States of Alderney, Malta and the Isle of Man, each of which is staking a claim for jurisdictional preference amongst the e-gaming community.

Nearly half of the exhibitors (30) will join ICEi for the first time, 17 of those first-timers heralding from outside the UK, including four from Malta, along with suppliers from Austria, Barbados, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Seychelles, Slovenia and South Africa.

Several ICEi exhibitors have thrown their full support behind ICEi's continuing success and growth. Yaraslava Gerchin, spokesperson for Ensis Technology, commented: “ICEi has won international recognition as an authoritative exhibition and meeting place of gaming professionals. It brings together a huge number of visitors in the field of software development.”

Alexander Wittkow, CEO at Moconso GmbH, enthused: “I personally visited ICEi 2007 and decided then that the show is the right surroundings to present our solutions. ICEi might be the most important show in the business of casino/gambling/betting calendar; last year I met a lot of interesting people.”

On signing up for the London Show, John Buttedahl, VP sales & marketing for Intelimax, added: “We chose to exhibit because, unlike long distance meetings or electronic communications, having some face-to-face time with our prospects will enable us to demonstrate our product offerings and advertisement opportunities in an efficient and personalized manner.”
