DEQ announces approval of G3 for Nevada field trial

DEQ will conduct the field trial at its partner casinos, Harrah’s and Station Casinos. Installation of systems and commencement of the trial is scheduled for the coming weeks.

This Nevada field trial is an important step towards receiving NGCB approval for the commercialization of our G3(TM) technology in one of our biggest target markets," said Earle G. Hall, President and CEO of DEQ Systems. "Our world renowned G3 system has already been approved and installed in more than 200 casinos, in over 30 countries.

Once this trial is completed, we expect to leverage our relationship with established partner casinos such as Harrah’s and Station Casinos to commence the installation of our systems in Nevada."

Pursuant to final approval of the G3 system by the NGCB, DEQ will receive a one time royalty payment of US$1 million from Station Casinos, as per the five year patent licensing agreement announced on April 26, 2007. Field trials will be performed at Harrah’s Bally’s Strip property known for its mix of local and tourist clientele.

Bally’s will trial two linked G3 systems on the well known Caribbean Stud poker game. Station Casinos will also trial two linked G3’s on Caribbean Stud tables at their renowned Green Valley Ranch property. The trials are set to run for thirty days and may be extended up to 90 days if additional data or adjustments are required.
