David C. Thomas, who has worked on films such as “Kansas City”, “Mask” and most recently “Lenexa 1 Mile”, has found the whole time much more exciting than working on films.
He said: “I don't see myself making another movie. That's way too many 17-hour days standing around staging gunfights and car wrecks. Casino games are a lot more fun.” Now Thomas and marketing expert Mark Koetting are trying to get the game into the public domain and have formed BJX Entertainment LLC to help push its exposure. There is even talk that there could possibly be a television show.
Thomas is now trying to get the game into casinos, with authorities approving the game to be played in a private card club in California. Then they will seek approval from the National Indian Gaming Commission to get the game into tribal casinos.
“We think casinos are evolving into amusement centres rather than gambling halls,” Thomas said. “We are offering casinos a new roller coaster for their park.”
