The football body confirmed that 15 games were being examined, but reports have suggested that up to 26 were named in the report and were being looked at.

A recent report in the UK’s Times newspaper cited high-ranking UEFA sources saying that no games involving English teams at either club or international level were involved.

Uefa also promised stern penalties for any team that “willingly collaborated”, but warned that it could be months before the investigation is completed.
