Robert van Enkhuijzen is indeed a long-serving veteran of the industry and has been visiting Romania on business for many years. This long-term approach allows a valued judgement on the movement of a market.
This movement was apparent at the exhibition. van Enkhuijzen stated: “It has always been a pleasure doing business in Romania. The people are creative, always looking for new opportunities. An honest comment is that in the past the developments at times lagged behind those in Western Europe. This year's show underlined that this is no longer the case”.
The Entertainment Arena was supported by many strong regional players, including EGT, Casino Technology, BGT, Mega Game, City Games and Danemar. “My figures show a machine increase of 23% compared with last year in Romania. And the market is still growing. These are exciting times in Romania”, van Enkhuijzen concluded.
