The series of conferences concluded yesterday in Buenos Aires

The third edition of ey!07 Encuentro Yogonet gathered 300 executives in Argentina

The first day of the event, organized by Yogonet in Buenos Aires, within SAGSE 2007, had left a very positive balance both for speakers and assistants, which were satisfied with the level of the conferences and the organization of the event.

In total, 240 executives spent the first day in the auditorium specially prepared in Pavilion 6 of Costa Salguero Center, and yesterday it was held the second day of the conferences.

The first conference was named “Electronic Roulettes: Key points of a profitable option”, with speakers David Lemor (Heal Technology); Daniel Galimberti (Sielcon); and Miguel Coppola (ElectroChance) and moderator Ezequiel Barbeito, from Bingo Avellaneda.

Later, Sebastián Salat (VP of International Sales of WMS Gaming), Sebastián Callieri (Director of IGT Latin America), Avron Gross (CEO of Betstone and Abbey Entertainment), Enric Barba (Director of Unidesa Gaming and Systems) and John Connelly (VP of Sales and Operations of Bally Tech) talked about Server-based games in the talk “Server Based Gaming: The future, closer than ever”, moderated by Angel Echavarren Navarro (Slot Manager of Codere America).

When talking about validators, Mike Innes, CEO of Money Controls, Sim Bielak, VP of Sales and Marketing of Cash Code and Tom Nieman, Senior VP of Operations of JCM American, analized how recent technological developments bring more security to the sector and commented the operation of new equipments, in a conference moderated by Víctor Hugo Gadino (Codere Argentina, Manager of the Technical and Technological Area). Finally, specialist Estela Varsavsky, head of 137 BET, talked about the current situation of online gaming in the region.

“We are really satisfied with the outcome of this congress, because the issues treated attracted more public than previous years, there were many important specialists and it reaffirmed the possibility of keep on offering an important frame of debate for the sector, confirming the interest in Argentina as well as in Latin America for this type of events”, assured Pablo Zuppi, Director of Yogonet, who added that 40% of the assistants came from abroad. Organizers also confirmed the organization of the fourth cycle of conferences for 2008, which will be held within SAGSE en Buenos Aires again.
